AI connector
Ask your AI assistant about European data centres.
DC Blueprint is an MCP server. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that takes MCP connectors, and it answers from our trackers on data-centre markets, grid connections and rules by country, with the date of every figure and the page to cite.

Tools it exposes
Each answer is dated and ends with the page to cite. All tools are read-only.
Data-centre market overview
data_centre_market_overview Dated overview of a European data-centre market: how many data-centre projects of 1 MW or more our pipeline tracker lists and how many are permitted or being built, who develops the most of them, whether new grid connections are paused, rationed or conditional in that country, and how many data-centre rules apply.
Grid connection status
grid_connection_status Where in Europe new grid connections for data centres are paused, rationed, conditional or congested, by country, with the measure's name, what it applies to and when it started.
Data-centre rules
data_centre_rules The national and EU rules for building and running a data centre in one European country (energy efficiency reporting, waste heat, permitting, grid), each with its status, who it applies to and the next date that matters, plus upcoming deadlines.

Questions
Where do the answers come from?
From the same trackers the DC Blueprint pages show: the data-centre pipeline tracker, the grid connection tracker and the rules by country, plus the business-case figures of the Plan for keyed calls. Each answer is dated and ends with the DC Blueprint page it comes from, which names its sources.
How fresh is the data?
Every answer carries the date its figures were last checked (now 23 October 2026), and the assistant is asked to quote it. The connector reads the trackers as they are published on the site; it does not serve live hourly grid data.
What needs a key, and what does Premium add?
The reference tools need no key and no account. business_case_figures needs a personal key from an account with a licence or a 7-day trial: it returns our figures for one market with their low and high, 300 runs a month. A repeat of the same market on the same day uses no new run, and runs start again on the first of each month (UTC).
What does the connector log?
For every call we count the day, the tool and the name the assistant gives for itself, with no address, key, account or question, and keep the counts for 400 days. With a key we keep its prefix and a hash of the secret, never the key itself, and the runs your account used. The privacy notice has the details.Privacy notice.
What are the rate limits?
Without a key, 40 calls a minute and 1,500 a day per network. With a key, 60 calls a minute on a licence or trial and 20 on an account without one, counted per account. One request takes at most 10 messages, and an account can make 5 keys in 24 hours.
Can my assistant download the data?
No. The connector is read-only and returns the counts, statuses and figures the pages show, one market or country at a time. It never returns project rows, files or exports.
